Soprano Angelique Zuluaga has performed early music, oratorio, chamber and contemporary music throughout the U.S. and South America, and can frequently be found collaborating with composers in new works.

Recent and upcoming concerts include solo engagements with the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra’s 2011 Bach Project, the 2011 Carmel Bach Festival (Handel’s Ode to St. Cecilia and Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music),  the U.S. premiere of Joni Greene’s Message In Blue, and the Colombian ensemble Musica Ficta at the 2012 Cartagena International Music Festival.

Past solo performances include Handel’s Ode to St. Cecilia at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Institute Young Artist Concert with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s under the direction of Ton Koopman, collaboration with Aguav New Music Studio in the world premiere of Aurelio De La Vega’s Variacion del Recuerdo at the Coolidge Auditorium of the Library of Congress, and J.S. Bach’s Matthaus-Passion with the Youth Orchestra of the Americas in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro under the direction of Kent Nagano & David Robert Coleman.

Ms. Zuluaga is in her fifth season with the Carmel Bach Festival and has performed under such directors as Paul Hillier, Raymond Leppard, and John Poole.

Performance Time:
The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. – doors open at 7:30 p.m.
From 6:30-7:30 p.m. Le Salon des Artistes will be showing original artwork in Grant Hall. Light hors d’oeuvres, wine, and soft drinks will be available. Please come before the concert and enjoy the display.
