Glen Deven Ranch_outlookDescription: At Glen Deven Ranch there are three horses, two mules, and a barn, as well as a large home and two guest houses, a pool. and two wonderful hiking trails.  They are each about 1.5 miles long.  One takes you to the view you see of the coast below, and the other down a canyon to a pool (got to walk up). The second is a bit more difficult.  We could divide and conquer and do both!  There is a nice place to have a picnic lunch near the pool so we could do that instead, or some may go to Rocky Point while some have a picnic.  If you plan to come, please let me know if you want to have lunch together as well, and which “venue” you prefer. They are both very nice.

Directions: Coming from All Saints’ in Carmel it is about a twenty-minute drive to the entrance gate on Highway 1 south (Google map and directions).  There is a turnout opposite Palo Colorado Rd. (on the east side of the road) where some of us can leave our autos and drive together up to the ranch, or we can all take our cars up the road. Mother Cynthia will meet the group there at the entrance gate on Palo Colorado Road and Highway 1.
I hope you can all come–it’s a beautiful place.
