Bach to the Future Choristers
Participants lift their voices in song as they sing the music of Bach, Handel, Mozart and Vivaldi. Choristers meet for two (x2) one-hour sessions of choral music each day. Their music will be offered at All Saints’ Episcopal Church on Sunday, July 27 and Sunday, August 3. Different music selections are learned each week.
You gain a fascination and learn about music through an enjoyable and unique collection of games that teach. These are games that entice curiosity and reinforce musical concepts, including rhythm, pitch, dynamics, instruments and note reading. Participants are in age-appropriate groups and a totally noncompetitive environment.
This provides a time for informal conversations each day with Bach Festival Chorale musicians. Bow, Blow, and Beat offers time for the musicians of the Bach Festival Orchestra to introduce participants to a different musical instrument each day.
Perk up Your Ears
Through age-appropriate activities, youth and children are encouraged to become active listeners. Let your whole body become a listening ear. You are introduced to listening experiences and are better able to respond, interpret, and speak about the music.
Visits from Mr. Bach
During each week, participants receive daily visits from Mr. Bach, and learn about the life and times of this immortal and fascinating composer.
Building Bach Community
Experience innovative and fun-filled music activities that draw you into creative experiences for building intentional community, nurturing, and strengthening relationships. Explore ways to set goals and work together.
