Sunday morning Bible study is offered each week in the rector’s study from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. We study the lessons appointed for the day.

Monday: Healthy Saints hike—Enjoy a beach hike from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., from Asilomar to The Inn at Spanish Bay. The easy hike begins on sand and finishes on a planked walkway. Then on Saturday, May 31, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. we’ll hike the Earl Moser/Madrone Loop at Jack’s Peak. This is an easy two-mile walk through pine forest, meadow, ravine, and a wide grassy path. Wednesday: Join us for Bible study from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. in Grant Hall as we explore Jesus’ life in a chronological study of the Gospels.

Wednesday: The vestry will meet from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the library. If you are interested, feel free to attend.

Thursday: The Feast of the Ascension—Mark your calendar and plan to attend an Ascension Day service, at noon or 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29.

Evensong, a traditional Anglican service of music, prayer, and reflection, will be offered next Sunday at 5:30 p.m.

Bonhoeffer’s Life Together—Join the congregation-wide reading of this engaging and non-scholarly book. Conversations on Chapter One will be held on June 1 (in Grant Hall, after the 10:30 service) and June 21. Copies are available in the church and the office for $10.

Baptism—If you are interested in being baptized at the Feast of Pentecost (June 8), please contact the rector.

Furniture available—As the chalet/sexton’s cottage is readied for new use, two items, an occasional shelf in marble and metal, and a California king bed in excellent condition, have become available. They can be yours in exchange for a donation to All Saints’ in the amount of your choosing. To view the items, contact the office.

Santa Lucia Kids Camp: A day camp for children ages four to thirteen will be held June 23–25 and again July 14–16 at Santa Lucia Campground. Bach to the Future 2014—In its tenth anniversary year, Bach to the Future offers two one-week sessions (July 21 to 25 or July 28 to August 1) featuring singing, music-making, drawing, dancing, and interactive presentations by singers and instrumentalists from the Carmel Bach Festival.
