Today: Sunday morning Bible study is offered each week in the rector’s study from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. We study the lessons appointed for the day.

Today: Children’s Worship at 10:30 a.m.—Pre-kindergarten and elementary children worship in an age-appropriate manner in Room A during the Liturgy of the Word, and then return during the Peace so that they can participate in Holy Communion. Parents may accompany their children. The nursery will still be in session, and parents may always keep their children with them in church. Children’s bulletins are available at the entrance of the church. If you would like to help with Children’s Worship, please contact Jennifer Suttie at jennifer.suttie@mac.com or 831-521-9654.

Advent crèche display—During the weeks of Advent and Christmas we hope to decorate the nave with nativity sets of all types. Do you have a nativity set, large or small, that you could share for the season, or just on Sunday? Please unpack it, dust it off, and bring it to church. Be sure to affix your name in an inconspicuous place.

Christmas Gifts for Children—Once again the Outreach Commission is gathering Christmas gifts for the children at Epiphany Church in Marina.  Fr. Jon suggests toys, books, or art supplies for children up to age twelve, or gift cards (not to exceed $25), or checks made out to Epiphany, memo “Christmas gifts.”  UNWRAPPED items may be placed in the box by the church doors or taken to the church office.  Our deadline is Monday, December 15. You may place checks in the collection plates. The joy of children is wonderful to share.  At Epiphany, no child is left without a gift. Thanks in advance from the Outreach Commission.

December 21: Greening of the Church—Join hands with others in decorating the church for Christmas, starting at 11:45 a.m. Soup and sandwiches will be provided.

December 21: Christmas caroling—You and your family and friends are invited to join us as we carol our way through our neighborhood, accompanied by Carl Sackett on guitar. We’ll meet in Seccombe Hall at 3:30 p.m. to get song sheets and practice a bit, and we’ll return in time for the 5:30 Eucharist, for those who wish to attend. No need to RSVP—just come!

Christmas memorials—We welcome your donations to help adorn the church for Christmas. You may use the forms located at the back of the church and in the office, or send instructions along with your check, which must be received by Monday, December 22. The suggested donation is $20. Memorials and thanksgivings will be included in the Christmas bulletins.
