Sunday, September 20: A very special All Saints’ welcome to today’s Officiant and Celebrant, the Reverend Joe Petronik. Also, please welcome the Reverend Natalie Stewart. She will be with us for a few months, giving us support during this time of transition.

Sunday, September 20: The altar flowers are given to the Glory of God by Claudia Ward in thanksgiving for her many blessings.

Monday, September 21: Prayerful yoga – Creating space in the body through breath, movement, and stillness creates space in your heart and life. Join instructor Beth Lefevre in Seccombe Hall from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. No previous yoga experience is required.

Wednesday, September 23: Bible study led by Bill Reed will take place at 10:30 a.m. until noon in Grant Hall.

Ushers needed for the 10:30 service – There is a pressing need for ushers to serve at our 10:30 a.m. service. This is an important and rewarding way to serve the church. Anyone can do it. Men and women welcome. Contact Don Britton at 831-455-5411 or bestpropcv@aol.com.

Needed: Lay Eucharistic ministers – We have a number of parishioners who cannot attend Sunday services yet still want to receive Holy Communion once in a while. We need licensed people who can make home visits and administer the sacraments. We can arrange the appropriate training. Volunteers for the parish office front desk: We are seeking volunteers to greet visitors coming to our office, answer phones, and help with administrative tasks in the parish office. Two time slots are available: Monday or Tuesday 9 a.m. to noon. Help us present a friendly face and voice to our community. Have a favorite hymn? We want to know what your favorite hymns are. Write down the hymn number of your choice and give it to the usher as you leave. We are incorporating your hymns into the service each Sunday.

Tea at Two: A lovely afternoon of tea and conversation, which will benefit Community Human Services, will take place Saturday, September 26, 2-4 p.m. here at All Saints’. Ticket price: $25.00 per person. Grace Swearingen is hosting the All Saints’ table at the tea. The $25.00 per guest donation benefits such organizations as the Domestic Violence/Anger Management and Family Service Centers. If you wish to be a guest, please contact Grace at 831-392-0202.
