Sunday, October 4:  A very special All Saints’ welcome to today’s Officiant and Celebrant, the Reverend Lamont Wiltsee.  Also, please welcome the Reverend Natalie Stewart, who will be with us for a few months, giving us support during this time of transition.

Sunday, October 4:  The altar flowers are given to the Glory of God and in Thanksgiving for the gift of music.

Monday, October 5:  Prayerful yoga –Creating space in the body through breath, movement, and stillness creates space in your heart and life.  Join instructor Beth Lefevre in Seccombe Hall from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.  No previous yoga experience is required.

Wednesday, October 7:  Bible study led by Bill Reed will take place at 10:30 a.m. until noon in Grant Hall.

Sunday, October 18:  Episcopal Schools Sunday – We encourage regular worshipers at the 10:30 a.m. liturgy to especially plan to attend on the 18th.  This is a wonderful opportunity to show our support for our young people.  We also welcome Mr. Jim Lusby as the interim head of our Day School.  Please come and meet him.

Ushers needed for the 10:30 service – There is a pressing need for ushers to serve at our 10:30 a.m. service.  This is an important and rewarding way to serve the church.  Anyone can do it.  Men and women welcome.  Contact Don Britton at 831-455-5411 or bestpropcv@aol.com

Needed:  lay Eucharistic ministers – We have a number of parishioners who cannot attend Sunday services yet still want to receive Holy Communion once in a while.  We need licensed people who can make home visits and administer the sacraments.  We can arrange the appropriate training.  If you are interested, please call the office. 624-3883, or call Claudia: 373-5069.

Volunteers for the parish office front desk – We are seeking a volunteer to greet visitors coming to our office, answer phones, and help with administrative tasks in the parish office.  The time slot available is Tuesday 9 a.m. to noon.  Help us present a friendly face and voice to our community.  If you can help contact Ray Krise in the office at 624-3883, ext. 14 or ray.krise@allsaintscarmel.org.

Have a favorite hymn?  We want to know what your favorite hymns are.  Write down the hymn number of your choice and give it to the usher as you leave.  We are incorporating your hymns into the service each Sunday

2015 Honored Women’s DayKathy Kirkwood to be honored – Kathy Kirkwood, our dedicated music director, has been named the All Saints’ Woman of the Year by our vestry.  She will be honored at the annual Diocesan ECW luncheon, “Celebrating the Women of El Camino Real” – Saturday, October 10th – 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.  St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1071 Pajaro Street, Salinas.  Registration deadline:  October 1st.  See information posted to the church bulletin boards or in the church office.  Please come and join with other women from All Saints’ in showing our appreciation for Kathy and all she has done to keep up a quality music program at All Saints’ in spite of many challenges.
