Monday, December 21st:  Prayerful yoga –Creating space in the body through breath, movement, and stillness creates space in your heart and life.  Join instructor Beth Lefevre in Seccombe Hall from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.  No previous yoga experience is required.  Donations go to the Rector’s Discretionary Fund.

WednesdayBible study led by Bill Reed will not be held on Wednesday, December 23rd but will resume on December 30th – Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in Grant Hall.

Donations for the Food Pantry – The food pantry can use canned meats, tuna, peanut butter, canned fruit or vegetables.  Please place donated items in the basket at the entrance to the church to be brought forward at the offertory.  Thank you for your generosity towards those in need.

December 23rd: Greening of the Church—join hands with others in decorating the church for Christmas, starting at 10:00 a.m. until 3 p.m.  Soup and sandwiches will be provided at noon.

December 24th Christmas Eve services will be held at 5:30 p.m. (Celebrant: Holly Hudson-Louis) and at 9:00 p.m. (Celebrant: Bishop Mary Gray-Reeves.)  Christmas Carol Sing from 9:00 to 9:30.

January 6th – We are invited to join St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church in a celebration of their Patronal feast cum Epiphany.  Vespers will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. in Seccombe Hall.  Please sign up for the dinner on a list at the back of the church or contact the church office.

Mark your calendars – January 10th, the Epiphany:  This will be the Reverend Amber Sturgess’ first Sunday with us.  We will have a special coffee hour to welcome Amber to the parish, and to celebrate Gwynn Romano’s granddaughter’s Christening.  It will be a joint coffee hour in Seccombe Hall with St. John’s Greek Orthodox Congregation.

January 24th at 4:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Monterey.  We are invited to join with our fellow Christians from all denominations in an ecumenical service of prayer and worship.  This year’s theme:  Called to Proclaim the Mighty Acts of the Lord (1Peter 2:9)
