Today, Sunday, October 30th – Worship services at 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. will not take place as we are observing the Feast of All Saints at the 10:30 a.m. service.  A special welcome to the Rt. Rev. Mary Gray-Reeves to her annual visit to All Saints’.  Please join us for a potluck luncheon following the service.

The Icons in Transformation exhibit will be open to the public – for free – through November 20.  The Icons exhibit will only be with us for three more weeks. We ask each of you to please tell everyone you know about this exhibit, and encourage them to come see it – announce it at your meetings, invite people in! This is a once in a lifetime experience!! Our visitors have been amazed!

Monday, October 31st – Prayerful Yoga – Creating space in the body through breath, movement, and stillness creates space in your heart and life.  Join instructor Beth Lefevre in Seccombe Hall from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.  No previous yoga experience is required.  Donations go to the Rector’s Discretionary Fund.

Thursday, November 3rd at 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel:  Our Contemplative Prayer Group continues its weekly meetings to practice Centering Prayer.  We will begin with a short reading from Fr. Thomas Keating’s book, Open Mind, Open Heart, followed by Centering Prayer meditation, and a short discussion about our practice.  Please join us even if you have not attended a workshop.

Sunday, November 6th – We will continue the celebration of All Saints’.  Please consider representing a saint or saintly person that day, either in costume or by some other means conjured up by your imagination.  Wear a card with the name of your person so we know who you are and be prepared to tell us his or her dates and in two sentences tell us why this person is remembered.  Join the fun!

Saturday, November 19th at 4 p.mThe Reverend Pamela Cranston will discuss her exciting book, “The Madonna Murders” and the use of a famous icon in it. She will also sell and sign books afterwards. Her talk is part of our church’s ongoing contemporary art exhibitwhich runs through November 20th.

Our Memorial Garden Project has been completed. Consider buying a brick to commemorate a loved one in your family or reserve one for yourself.  This project is being paid for completely with donations. This will be a beautiful meditative spot when completed.  Jana Gill is the contact if you have questions.

Daily Morning PrayerWelcome Happy Morning!  You are invited to join All Saints’ parishioners every weekday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for prayers, music, and reflection at Morning Prayer in the All Saints’ Chapel of Saints Benedict and Scholastica (door on 8th and Lincoln).

There is a need for sleeping bags and windbreaker jackets for those in need. Jackets need to be clean and light enough to roll up tightly.   Marked containers will be under the tables by the front doors. Thanks from your Outreach Commission. Thanks from those in need.

Donations for the Food Pantry – The food pantry can use canned meats, tuna, peanut butter, canned fruit or vegetables, and toiletries.  Please place donated items in the basket at the entrance to the church.  Thank you for your generosity towards those in need.
