All Saints’ Episcopal Church is participating in the AmazonSmile program. The Episcopal Church Women – Day of Enrichment, June 3rd at St. Timothy’s, Mountain View.  We will explore seven spiritual pathways, identify our own preferred spiritual pathway, and explore ways to honor that pathway and get closer to God. There will be an In-gathering for the work of the Church Periodical Club, which supplies books, magazines, tapes, videos and computer programs free to those who cannot otherwise obtain them.  Registration is $25 and the deadline is May 26th.  See the registration form on church bulletin boards.  For more information contact Diocesan ECW Vice President, Jane Pomeroy at 408-263-8485 or pomeroyjane006@gmail.com.

And Don’t Forget

TeatimeTheology with Rev. Amber (Wednesday afternoons at the Cypress Inn, 3:30 p.m.)  has resumed following a Lenten hiatus.  Join her for tea, talk, and maybe some theology.

Mark your calendars! This fall we are going to be treated to a fabulous organ concert by Clay Couri to introduce our mighty new organ to the community.  Clay’s program will encompass music of the 1600’s through the 20th Century.  The pieces will be chosen to highlight the huge variety of registration available on our organ.   Clay has also arranged for a superb tenor soloist to perform for us. The concert will be at 3 p.m. the afternoon of Sunday, Sept. 24. Admission is free; there will be a donation basket to benefit organ maintenance and church safety equipment.  Refreshments will be served following the concert in Seccombe Hall.

The All Saints’ choir is seeking singers.  Our faithful little choir could use a few more songbirds from bass to soprano.  If you like to sing, please consider joining us.  You are welcome to give us a try and see if it suits you.  We meet from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday evenings and 9 a.m. on Sunday morning.  Come make a joyful noise unto the Lord with us.  Contact Jean Widaman.

The 2017 Altar Flower Calendar has been posted in the back of the church.  Almost all dates in 2017 are now available for you to contribute flowers to honor or memorialize a special event or loved one.  We ask for a minimum contribution of $65 which is the cost of the flowers.  More than one person can sign up for that special Sunday – it is within the rules to have multiple dedications! Please contact Mila Murphy with any questions.

Our Memorial Garden Project has been completed. Consider buying a brick to commemorate a loved one in your family or reserve one for yourself.  This is a beautiful meditative spot.  Jana Gill is the contact if you have questions.

Donations for the Food Pantry – The food pantry can use canned meats, tuna, peanut butter, canned fruit or vegetables, and toiletries.  Please place donated items in the basket at the entrance to the church.  Thank you for your generosity towards those in need.
