CARMEL BACH FESTIVAL SOLOISTS — A JULY TREAT!

During the remaining Sundays of July, we will once again welcome Carmel Bach Festival soloists, who are kind enough to step in for the All Saints’ Choir, which is on a well-deserved summer break. Mezzo-soprano Patricia Thompson will sing on July 15th, baritone Tim Krol on the 22nd, and tenor David Vanderwal on the 29th. Many of you will remember them from previous visits, so be sure to welcome them at coffee hour. They tell me they enjoy talking with you, unless they must rush off for another rehearsal once our service is over.

Holding the Integrity of our Faith.  Sunday, July 22nd, at 12:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall 

Join us for a potluck and exploration on “Reclaiming Jesus:  A Confession of Faith in A Time of Crisis,” a declaration written by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, Richard Rohr, Jim Wallace, and other faith leaders to reclaim the person and message of Jesus Christ in a time of political and moral crisis.  Facilitated by The Rev. Dr. Donald Williamson and Rev. Amber.

Santa Lucia Parish Cookout (8/5) and Camping (8/2-8/5)

The large river sites at our Santa Lucia Campground are reserved from 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 5, giving parishioners an opportunity to camp one to three nights (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) and depart after our parish cookout Sunday, August 5.

Cost of the camping will be $10/night.

Our outdoor service and cookout will be Sunday, August 5. Plan on bringing a side dish.

Sign up sheets are at the back of the church on Sundays and will be in the church office during the week. More details to follow!

Altar Flowers

Most of the upcoming Sundays are available for YOU to donate the flowers and make a personal dedication.  Please sign up on the calendar on the bulletin board in the back of the church.  The minimum contribution is $65, the cost of the flowers.  Please contact Mila Murphy with any questions.  Also, if Mila has not contacted you regarding your dedication two weeks before your chosen Sunday, please get in touch with her.

Our Memorial Garden Project has been completed. Consider buying a brick to commemorate a loved one in your family or reserve one for yourself.  This is a beautiful meditative spot.  Jana Gill is the contact if you have questions.

Help feed our community’s hunger by filling one of the red bags located under the table at the back of the church.  Items that are needed most are printed on the bags.  No glass items please.  Many thanks from your Outreach Commission who will include your contributions in our daily food bags.  Please return bags to the back of the church.
