Bible Study meets on the second and fourth Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the parish library, which can be accessed through the side door off of the Lincoln parking lot. The teaching is casual, allowing for lots of conversation while using an inductive methodology. You are welcome to participate when you can and encouraged to make it part of your regular schedule.
The All Saints’ Book Club has been meeting for over a decade on the second Tuesday of the month from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the parish library. We enjoy a broad range of spiritual and secular books which we select for the whole year at our January meeting. The group discusses, shares and educates each other on the themes of our book selections. On the first Tuesday, we have a dinner outing for those who would like to just have a social time together. Join us, it’s fun!
Friends Of St. Benedict
The Friends of St. Benedict is a community of listeners who strive to follow the Rule of St. Benedict as interpreted for modern times, living a balanced life of prayer, study and work. We gather together as a community on the third Wednesday of the month, with rare exceptions. We begin with Evening Prayer at 3:30 in the Chapel of Sts. Benedict and Scholastica, (downstairs in the northwest corner of the building). Afterwards we move to the library where we discuss interpretations of Benedict’s Rule and writings by Christian mystics from throughout the ages.
The All Saints’ Choir leads and presents music at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. Literature for the choir ranges from Renaissance motets and Anglican anthems to spirituals and folk hymns. The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
