We offer Morning Prayer each Monday through Saturday in our chapel of Sts. Benedict and Scholastica. The chapel entrance faces Ninth Avenue, close to Lincoln Street. Morning Prayer begins at 8:30am and is one of the daily offices contained in our Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. At this ancient and beautiful service we recite psalms, reflect on Scripture, and offer both ancient collects (prayers) and litanies. There are silences after the Scripture readings and time for private intercessions offered either silently or aloud. This spoken (non-musical) service lasts approximately thirty minutes and is a wonderful way to begin your day.
