Along with her husband, Charlie Grauling, and Portuguese Water Dog, Oboe, Nancy has been a Carmel resident since 2003 and All Saints’ parishioner since 2004.   She has been on the All Saints’ Vestry before and have been on the Outreach Commission for about 10 years.

Nancy has degrees from Purdue University, USC and UCLA.  Her professional life was all in southern California, where she worked for 35 years in positions from computer programming to engineering and program manager to six sigma expert.  In 2007, she organized the 15-faith community Interfaith Outreach of Carmel (IOC) and have served as President of the IOC Board of Directors since its incorporation in 2010.  The IOC formed the Joining Hands Benefits shops that earn money to prevent homelessness on the peninsula.

She is now in her last year on the Board of Directors of the Carmel Bach Festival and last year retired from her position as head of its Musician Hospitality committee, obtaining over 35,000 meals from over 60 local restaurants and organizing volunteers for that effort. She is ready to turn her attention to All Saints’ and look forward to the church’s 2015 adventure in faith.
