Feel free to bring an additional reading\, chant\, song\, etc. to share if you wish. Food for the Soul is a monthly event\, held the fourth Saturday of each month.  \nThe theme for next month will be “THE INNER LANDSCAPE.” Everyone is welcome. \nMunchies and coffee provided.

Bach’s St. John Passion\, performed by the Central Coast Chamber Choir (C4)\, the chamber ensemble of I Cantori di Carmel\, under the direction of Daniel Henriks. \nSoloists include Steven Caldicott Wilson (Evangelist)\, Morgan Balfour\, Gabriela Estephanie Solís\, and Matt Peterson\, joined by a period-informed ensemble drawn from musicians across the Central Coast. \nPresented in an intimate setting\, this performance brings the work into close focus\, where the story unfolds with directness\, clarity\, and presence. \nEach evening begins with a pre-concert lecture at 6:45 PM by David Gordon\, tenor and music historian widely regarded as one of the preeminent Evangelists of his generation.
