DESCRIPTION:“For I was hungry and you gave me food\, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink….” Matthew 25:35 \nJoin our volunteers in cooking and serving a delicious hot meal\, then dine and converse with the men who are enrolled in the Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program (I-HELP). This evening the men will be welcomed\, fed\, and housed in our church facility. Our relationship with them is priceless. \n“I-HELP is the only emergency shelter open every night in the Monterey area without a waiting list for men and women: a hot meal\, a safe place and a caring community.”

Feel free to bring an additional reading\, chant\, song\, etc. to share if you wish. \nFood for the Soul is a monthly event\, held the fourth Saturday of each month. The theme for next month will be “No Man is an Island.” Everyone is welcome!
