Blessing of the Animals

Our annual Blessing of the Animals – where attending animals are sprinkled with holy water, celebrating the joy, companionship, and unconditional love they bring into human lives – a beautiful reminder of the deep bond between humans and the natural world, fostering a collective commitment to treat all living creatures with kindness and respect. This custom honors Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint with a deep love of animals and the environment.
You and your pet(s) are welcome to All Saints’ 10:00 AM service and/or to the blessing, held in front of the church, Dolores and Ninth, at 11:00 AM.
