Wisdom Days: Contemplative Wisdom Practices

Wisdom Days: Contemplative Wisdom Practices

Facilitated by Rev. Amber Sturgess & Heather Ruce Contemplative wisdom practices have their origins in the ancient world and come down to us through various traditions such as The Rule of St. Benedict, the wisdom teachings of Jesus, and the Fourth Way work of G.I. Gurdjieff. Cynthia Bourgeault says that wisdom work “comes above ground at times when the planet is going through changes or when consciousness is about to take a major leap to a new place, a new level of understanding.” We invite you to join us for the series of Wisdom Days. The contemplative wisdom practices will consist of Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, wisdom teachings from Cynthia Bourgeault on video, conscious labor (physical work), and sacred dance taught by Heather Ruce. Suggested Donation: $35. For more information and to register, please contact Rev. Amber at rector@allsaintscarmel.org
