Centering Prayer
All Saints' Church 9th Ave & Dolores St, Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA, United StatesCentering Prayer, a form of meditative prayer called the “prayer of the heart”, is rooted in the teachings of Jesus and of the Desert Fathers and Mothers of the early church. Through the practice of Centering Prayer we learn how to surrender to love, to abide in divine love, and to enjoy the numerous fruits of the practice: appreciation of silence and solitude, less susceptibility to stress, deeper reverence for the divine in and through nature, willingness and commitment to a life of reconciliation and peace, and longing for and realization of our full union with God, with humanity, and with all life forms on our planet. The practice of Centering Prayer encourages us to cultivate an open mind, heart, and will as we seek spiritual transformation in Christ.

The Wisdom Enneagram Circle
All Saints' Seccombe Hall 9th and Dolores, Carmel, CA, United StatesDo you often wonder about who you really are and what your purpose is? The enneagram is an ancient nine-pointed symbol that can help us learn more about our true nature and what gets in the way of being our authentic self. When we come to know ourselves more deeply we have more compassion and understanding for ourselves and for those who see and process the world differently. Please join us for a year-long journey of discovery with the enneagram. The group will meet once a month on a Wednesday evening for ten months starting in September, 2026. Before the group begins you will take an assessment to determine your enneatype and have a one hour interview with the facilitator. Each session will include short meditation, teaching, group dialogue, panel discussions, and self-reflection time. The first session will be a six-hour introductory workshop to the enneagram, time to get to know one another, and a luncheon. The 6 hour workshop will be on Saturday, September 12, from 9am to 4pm. For More Information Contact: Amber Sturgess Register by August 21, 2026
